چکیده

Fluorites are found in the region between Hamit, Karakütük, Bayındır and Yeniyapan villages of Kaman District (Kırşehir-Türkiye). located altered levels due to faults quartz syenites containing gray-pink colored K-feldspar, plagioclase quartz, amphibole biotite type mafic minerals Upper Cretaceous aged. Central Anatolian Granitoids, observed purple green places, pink, yellow, white colors as veins reaching from a few centimeters two meters, colors.
 According X-Ray diffraction (XRD) analysis results, composed feldspar clay minerals; fluorites fluorite mineral combination. Wavelength Dispersive XRF (WDXRF) it is that amount F 39.8%, CaO 51.2%, SiO2 8.68%, 46.7%, 51.5%, 1.15%. As result cathodoluminescence analysis, presence rare earth elements (REE) terbium (Tb), erbium (Er), dysprosium (Dy) samarium (Sm) were fluorites.
 In order for be used gemstone; while features color variety, texture, easy workability revealed positive features, such low hardness, strength atmospheric conditions, cleaved structure coarse crystals determined negative features. For this reason, can gemstones, however important they undergo improvement methods (saturation with epoxy).
